On June 30, 2023, N Biren Singh left his residence to resign for Raj Bhavan. According to his colleagues, Biren realized that he “lost his trust’s trust”, as hundreds of people gathered to oppose the death of two Mitai men.

The incident strengthened its position among the majority of Meitei community and overtook critics within their party.
But on Sunday, the long rope came out. Biran Singh, BJP North East Coordinator Summit Patna and a group of MLAs met Governor Ajay Bhalla at around 5:30 pm on 9 February and Singh resigned. He has now been asked to continue as a caretaker Chief Minister, but by all accounts, it is now the end of the road for a journalist to a politician in cases of matters in cases of cases in Manipur.
What was forced to resign this time?
The Congress had planned to bring a no -confidence motion against Singh on Monday, February 10. Intelligence inputs suggested that around 20 BJP’s MLA would support the proposal to end the reign of Singh. Biran Singh had pressurized to step down in the last two years.
