Kejriwal’s Jangpura from New Delhi to Sisodia: 14 seats where Congress voted more than BJP ‘

The Aam Aadmi Party was washed away by the Bharatiya Janata Party in a crushed defeat after a decade long rule in Delhi. The Congress also hit a hat -trick of zero as it failed to bag the same seat, yet for the third consecutive time in a line.

However, voting figures suggest that AAP and Congress can win 14 more seats if they contest elections in a coalition under India’s block. This is because the Congress got more votes than the margin of victory in 14 constituencies, where the BJP defeated AAP candidates. AAP managed to win 22 seats on Saturday, 14 less than a majority mark.

These 14 assembly seats are: New Delhi, Jungpur, Timarpur, Rajendra Nagar, Badli, Nangloi Jat, Madipur, Greater Kailash, Kasturba Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Chhatarpur, Mehrauli, Sangam Vihar and Trilokpurri.
