England win toss, election to bat against India in second ODI

England captain Jose Butler won the toss and selected to bat against India in the second ODI of the three -match series on Sunday (February 9, 2025).

England made three changes, bringing Mark Wood, Gas Atkinson and Jamie Overton to XI in replacing Jacob Bethel, Bridan Cars and Joffra Archer.

India also made two changes with Yashwi Jaiswal, who fitly performing their ODIs in place of Kuldeep Yadav for Virat Kohli and leg-spinner Varun Chakravardhi, who have been rested.

After winning a four-wicket win over England in the first ODIs in Nagpur, India put a three-match series ahead 1-0.
