British singer Ed Sheeran surprised people in Bengaluru on Sunday morning after starting a great performance on Church Street in the city.
With a guitar in his hand, the global music sensation began singing on the pavement without any prior declaration, quickly attracted a crowd.
However, a surprise was waiting for the ED and also cut it down by the Bengaluru police personnel. In a video that has now gone viral, a police personnel are seen disconnecting the microphone as Ed sang his popular ‘Shape of You’ song.
According to Hindustan Times, police officers on duty failed to identify the singer and directed them to stop the performance as they did not have the necessary permission.

Police said permission was requested, but not given, today India said.
The 33 -year -old Grammy Award winner is on an India tour and is currently in Bengaluru for his scheduled concert. As part of his tour, he has also been slated to perform in Pune, Shillong and Delhi-NCR.
In Bengaluru, he will take the stage twice, as a special arrangement has been made due to heavy demand for tickets.
He has already performed a show in Hyderabad and Chennai. Veteran composer AR Rahman joined Sheeran on stage during the Chennai concert as the two made a rendering of the classic ‘Urvashi’ song.

The Global Music icon expressed its excitement about performing in India, stating that he is always ready to return as the Indian audience has shown a lot of love for his music.
“Every time I come back to India, it seems even more thrilling,” he said while reflecting his previous visits.
“Back in 2014, I did not know that my music was so strong here. It was not even my journey in 2015 that I realized that people really really enjoy my songs. Today, it is clear that India is clear that India One of my biggest markets is, “he said.
