Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed with a hug by French President Emmanuel Macron at a welcome dinner to co-head the AI summit in Paris.

At dinner, the Prime Minister also met US Vice President JD Wance, who is also in France to attend the AI summit.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a post on X, “PM @narendramodi interacts with President @EmmanuelMacron and Usa @VP @JDVance in Paris.”
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi arrived in Paris for the first phase of his two-nation tour, which will later be taken to America.
During his three-day visit to France, PM Modi will co-head the AI Action Summit with Macron in Paris, hold bilateral talks with him, and address the business leaders.
As soon as he landed in Paris, he received a welcome to a grand diaspora. He said, “A memorable reception in Paris! The cold weather did not stop the Indian community from showing its affection this evening. Honor of our diaspora and proud of them for their achievements,” he said.
PM Modi and Macron will also discuss both banned and delegation formats and address the CEO of India-France.
In his statement of his departure, the Prime Minister said that his visit would provide an opportunity to review the progress on 2047 horizon roadmaps for India-French strategic partnership with President Macron of “My Friends”.
On Wednesday, the two leaders will visit Majarg’s War Cemetery in Marsile, built by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, who to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers in the First World War.
He will inaugurate India’s latest consulate in Marsile.
According to officials, this is PM Modi’s sixth visit to France.
