Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Paris on Monday, attended a welcome dinner organized by French President Emmanuel Macron at Elisy Palace ahead of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) summit. On arrival, MR Long mark on English tone Welcomed his “friend” PM Modi with a warm neck.
“Welcome to Paris, my friend @narendramodi,” wrote on X as he shared a video of PM’s arrival at Elisy Palace for Welcome Dinner.

At the venue, PM Modi met several other world leaders, who would attend the AI summit, including US vice -president JD Vance – last month Mr. Vance held the first such meeting of the two leaders after the swearing -in. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) also shared pictures of three leaders talking to each other during the welcome dinner.

As PM Modi Descended in Paris, he received a grand reception from the Indian community. The scenes show the PM waving and shake hands with him. He said, “A memorable reception in Paris! The cold weather did not stop the Indian community from showing its affection this evening. Honor of our diaspora and proud of them for their achievements,” he said.

This is PM Modi’s sixth visit to France.
In his departure statement, the PM said that the bilateral section of his visit would provide an opportunity to review the progress on the 2047 horizon roadmap for India-France strategic partnership with his “friend” President Macron.
Today, after the AI Summit, PM Modi and President Macron will visit Marsile, where the latter PM will host a dinner in honor of Modi. On Wednesday, the two leaders will visit Mazargues War Cemetery in Marsile, where they will pay tribute to Indian soldiers, who fought and died during the First World War. Indian soldiers who fought in France during the war.
The two leaders will jointly inaugurate India’s consulate in Marsile.
PM Modi’s France will end with an important visit to the tour cadre, a site known for the residence of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) – a major partner scientific project that aims to create a clean nuclear fusion energy, in which India Is a major partner.
AI summit
The AI Action Summit will be held today, which will bring the global leaders and technical CEOs together to discuss the future of AI. The summit aims to promote cooperation on AI technologies and promote cooperation on moral use, which can prove to be important in shaping the future of the global economy.
The previous editions of the AI Summit were held in the UK in 2023 and then in South Korea in 2024.
