Despite whatever happened, I wanted to play violin, ”he said.

Mr. Subramaniam mentioned that in any field, someone should be very emotional about what they want to achieve. “You dream big and then go after it until you realize it. There is no shortcut. People like Palakkad Mani Iyer, Trem Mahlingam and Rajrathanam Pillai have worked so hard and changed the entire scenario of Karnataka music. While he was creative genius, he also worked very hard, ”he said.

He also spoke in detail behind the writing of his book ‘Raga Harmoni: Hormonic Structures and Tonality in Indian Classical Music’.

Talking about the importance of technology and how frequent practice changes in a way, he said, “If you are limited in your technology, you can only play what you can do. But my father said that if you want to play whatever you feel, then you should not have any limit in technology. He said that the only way to achieve this is to practice. I started working hard and after a point, I really enjoyed playing. I did not practice for this, ”he said.
