Andhra acid attack: A youth threw acid on a 23 -year -old woman after rejecting her proposal on Valentine’s Day on Friday. The crime took place in Parampalli village of Gurnada division, leaving the victim, Gautami with serious injuries. The attacker, known as Ganesh, a resident of Ammacheruvu Mitt in Madanpal, has been accused of staring and harassing Gautami for some time.
Gautami, who runs a beauty parlor on Kadiri Road, was preparing for her wedding on 29 April after completing her degree studies in Madanapal. She was associated with Srikanth, a resident of Jagan Colony in Peleru, and her family cured the marriage. 7 February. However, Ganesh, who developed a love for Gautami, allegedly carried out an attack in a fit of anger after allegedly rejected his advances.
On Friday, Ganesh took advantage of when Gautami’s parents were away to collect milk. At that time, he entered his house, attacked him with a knife, and then threw acid on his face, causing severe burns and injuries. Gautami was rushed to Madanapal Government Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment for his important injuries.
