Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday questioned the possible landing of another aircraft carrying illegal Indian migrants at Amritsar Airport, as he killed at the center, accused of trying to discredit Punjab.
A flight carrying 119 illegal Indian migrants from the US is expected to land at Amritsar Airport at around 10 pm on 15 February (file).

Allegedly, the second batch of 119 illegal Indian migrants in the US is likely to be deported into the American aircraft that will land as part of a large -scale action by the Donald Trump administration at Amritsar Airport on 15 February.
It comes a few days after the first batch 104 Indian migrants were blown back into India in an American military aircraft Last week. During the flight, the exiles were handcuffed, which created an uproar in the country including political corridors.
Among these 119 immigrants, 67 hailstorms from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, eight from Gujarat, three from Uttar Pradesh, two from Goa, Maharashtra and Rajasthan and one -each -each from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, said in the quotes of news. Agency PTI.
Addressing a press conference, Mann said, “BJP -led centers always discriminate against Punjab. It does not allow any opportunity to defame Punjab.”

He said that the first American aircraft to carry illegal Indian migrants had 33 people from Haryana and Gujarat and 30 and 30 people from Punjab.
“It is being said that out of 119 illegal migrants, 67 hailstorms from Punjab and hence the aircraft will land in Amritsar. If so, why didn’t the first aircraft be done in Ahmedabad? … They (referring to the BJP -led central government) are trying to discredit Punjab. The BJP always tries to discredit Punjabis and Punjab, “said Mann.
In Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who held a high-level bilateral talks with President Trump on the first Friday morning, Mann asked if he was bringing “gifts” from the country, referring to another aircraft of illegal Indian immigrants.
After Trump’s inauguration on 20 January this year, his administration has initiated a large -scale action against illegal immigrants.
Many Indians who entered the US through “donkey routes” – are being an illegal method used by migrants to enter the US and other countries.
