Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Guntur Mirchi Yard on Wednesday. The YSRCP chief criticized the TDP -led government in Andhra Pradesh, which failed to ensure remuneration prices for the produce of farmers. Talking to reporters after meeting the pepper farmers, Reddy claimed that farmers are dissatisfied across the state as they are not receiving the minimum support price (MSP) for crops like Black Village, Green Gram, Tomato and Cotton.

Reddy accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of “selling” to middlemen and convicted the state government for reversing the welfare schemes launched during his tenure. He highlighted the previous YSRCP government’s major initiative, Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKS), which provided significant support to the farmers. Reddy described the current TDP -led administration as a “curse” for farmers, emphasizing the need for policies that prefer their good.
