Three talented players of Waltaire Division – C. Vengala Rao, DV Ganesh, and P. Karthik – represented the Indian Railway Ball Badminton Team, which recently won the Senior National Ball Badminton Championship held in Bellary, Karnataka.
Sri Vengala Rao was awarded the ‘Star of India’ award for his outstanding performance as an important achievement in the tournament.
All the players were received by the divisional railway manager Manoj Kumar Sahu, Praveen Bhati, Sports Officer and B. Avinash was vested by Munj Kumar Sahu along with Avinash, Joint Sports Officer. On this occasion, senior players and coaches of Ekorsa Waltaire were presented.
