Delhi CM swearing -in ceremony: Rekha Gupta was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Thursday, bringing back the BJP government to the national capital after 27 years.

Parvesh Verma:

Verma is a two -time BJP MP, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi constituency in the assembly elections and became a huge killer. He is also the son of former CM Sahib Singh Verma and was in the race for Delhi CM Post, many reports came out after the 8 February election results. It is also a major Jat face for the BJP in Delhi.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa:

Sirsa is the Sikh face of BJP in Delhi. He won elections from Rajouri Garden. He was also considered for CM Post. He was earlier with the Shiromani Akali Dal and is a three -time MLA. He was an important person during the protest against the three agricultural laws of farmers, where he often arranged for the langars to protest the farmers on the streets of Delhi.

Kapil Mishra:

Kapil Mishra was earlier at the Aam Aadmi Party, before he accused Arvind Kejriwal of corruption. He joined BJP in 2019. He was sworn in as a minister after he won from Karaval Nagar constituency. He is the son of former East Delhi Mayor Annapurna Mishra and a socialist leader Rameshwar Mishra.

Ashish Sood:

Sood, a major face in the Punjabi community in the city, is the first MLA from Janakpuri. He defeated Parveen Kumar of AAP. He has been the vice -president of the party’s Delhi unit. He has been in-charge and co-devoted in the party’s BJP’s Goa for Jammu and Kashmir.

He also has experience in the administrative field during the BJP rule in the South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Pankaj Kumar Singh:

Singh, a dentist by profession, is the first MLA from Vikaspuri (South-West) constituency. He defeated Mahinder Yadav of AAP. He is a priest leader who has been actively involved in social services.

Ravinder Indraj Singh:

Indraj Singh is the Dalit face of BJP in Delhi. He won the Bawana (SC) constituency in the elections after defeating AAP’s Jai Bhagwan Kill. He was also an executive member of the party’s SC Morcha.
