Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday smiled at the oath of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and said that he greeted all the NDA partners participating in the event. The Prime Minister met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena supremo Eknath Shinde and made a heated exchange with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. However, it was PM Modi’s banquet with Andhra Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan who caught the media’s eye.

Delhi gets a new CM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, top BJP brass and NDA leaders attended the ceremony at the historic Ramlila Maidan. Gupta is the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi. 50 -year -old MLA from Shalimar Bagh is also the only woman in the NDA team of Chief Ministers.
