A 16 -year -old girl, who was allegedly raped and pregnant, died on Sunday after giving birth to a child born in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. A student of class 10 was allegedly sexually harassed by a person who was known for the victim’s family.
According to reports, the accused still remains on a large scale. On Sunday, after giving birth to a child, the girl captured serious anemia and respiratory issues, as reported by India today. As giving birth, his health condition deteriorated.
He was initially taken to a local medical facility. He was then transferred to Palmaneru Hospital and later shifted to a hospital in Tirupati, where he gave a boy child, reported the Times of India. However, he still died without responding to treatment in the hospital.
The police have filed a case under the protection of the Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act under the protection of children, which aim to protect the minors from such crimes. The investigation is on, and the officials are actively chasing the accused.
In another case, a POCSO court in Kolkata on Monday found a man guilty of kidnapping, rape and attempting to kill a seven -month -old girl in the northern part of the city. The decision was given by the Bankshell Court, and is expected to be sentenced on Tuesday. The accused was convicted under the protection of the sexual offenses (POCSO) Act for heinous offenses against the infant.
According to Survivor currently special public prosecutor Bibhas Chatterjee, a government facility is receiving medical care in RG tax Medical College and Hospital. During the test, a total of 24 witnesses, including eight experts, were examined to build the case against the accused.
Chatterjee revealed that the prosecution trusted evidence from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) to establish the involvement of the accused in the crime. Additionally, the suspect was identified through CCTV footage from Bertola Police Station area, which played an important role in his identity with his specific moves.
