The men were seen entering a park with rods and sticks in Patna, the capital of Bihar, banning a young couple from celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday. Members of the Fringe Group Hindu Shiva Bhavani Seva visited several parks across the city, raising slogans against public performance of affection, saying, “Stop spreading vulgarity in public places.” He was also heard saying the slogan in Hindi, “Where you meet Babu Sona, Tod Denge Kona-Kona.”

The national president of the Hindu Shiv Bhavani Sena, Luv Kumar Singh told the news agency IANS, “We are against vulgarity. We oppose Valentine’s Day, and in Pulwama this day in the memory of soldiers who were martyred on this day as Black Day Let’s celebrate. “
He said, “This festival is a gift of Western culture and we are against it. There is no mention of this festival in Hinduism. This festival is more dangerous than cancer and we are completely against it,” he said.

Similarly, Hindu activists and Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha workers entered Paliwal Park in Agra, took up, lathi and baton and chanting “Jai Shri Ram” to protest Valentine’s Day. There was anarchy after seeing the activist chaos among the couples sitting in the park.
A similar incident took place in Mordabad district of Uttar Pradesh, where two organizations- Bajrang Dal and Indian Sufi Foundation staged their protests against Valentine’s Day, condemning as a Western cultural practice. There is no place in Indian.
12 teams were deployed by Bajrang Dal leaders to patrol in the city, along with other 20 teams, nearby districts were monitored. Meanwhile, the Indian Sufi Foundation also raised issues that celebrate Valentine’s Day “” mislead children. “
