CCTV separates two murders 6 km, Delhi Police caught the teenager accused in 13 hours


New Delhi:

In Delhi, two murders that took 6 km separate and appeared completely unrelated, today unexpectedly resolved when police investigated CCTV footage. Not only were they connected, the same group of five teenagers was included in both, police said. This led a manhint that ended within 13 hours as the police scored all of them.

A case was filed and the police started scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas to hunt for clues.

The official said on the afternoon, the Gazipur police received a crisis call stating that a person was found dead behind a liquor shop in the paper market area.

Police found the dead body in an empty conspiracy behind the liquor shop. There were deep knives on his thigh. The man was identified as 49 -year -old Ramesh, a resident of Kumhar Basti in Gazipur.

The DCP said, “CCTV footage from nearby revealed a disturbing sequence, in which four youths were seen attacking the victim.” The police did not take a long time to identify the suspects seen in New Ashok Nagar.

The official said four police teams were formed, reviewing CCTV footage and tracking movements through automatic number plate recognition cameras. The official said forensic analysis and video surveillance footage established that the same group was involved in both murders.

“The adolescent girls first killed Gazipur in an alcoholic state and later targeted a passerby in New Ashok Nagar,” the official said.

Police said the murder took place in New Ashok Nagar, shortly after the Ghazipur murder. Police said the teenagers gathered at the liquor shop to celebrate their birthdays when an argument started and he stabbed Ramesh.

He then went to New Ashok Nagar and tried to rob a passerby near Dalupura Road in an alcoholic state. When the victim protested, they stabbed her and ran away from the spot.

All the teenagers were arrested by 4 pm.
