On Thursday, the newly formed Delhi cabinet passed the resolution on the CAG report. A total of 14 reports will be presented in the house.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that by passing the proposal, “the government has demonstrated its commitment to zero tolerance against corruption”.
Last month, before the elections, Gupta spoke to News18 and said that this report will be ‘Kaal’ (doom) for AAM AADMI party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal, Like it shook the Congress-led UPA-II And the late Dr. Bring Manmohan Singh’s two-term government down.
Gupta, as the then Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly, increased demand several times that pending CAG Report Should be hit. However, the then AAP government did not release the report. Talking to News18, Gupta said that the AAP CAG was suppressing the report because they know that this includes blunder, corruption, leakage and misuse of public money.
“In the last five years, not a single CAG report has been given in the assembly. These reports have reality on pollution, health and education. These reports are an audit of public funds that show the blunders. They are catching these reports because they know otherwise their reality will be made public through these reports. It is completely anarchy, “Gupta said in January.
He also went to courts demanding Report Click before the election is held.
Talking to News18, a BJP leader said that this report will reveal the truth of AAP.
“If the report was in favor of AAP, there was no point in hiding these reports. The public has already felt that they were doing something wrong and so they voted for them. Now, with these reports, the public will get a complete picture of how Kejriwal was fooling Delhi, “the leader said, demanding oblivion.
