Find the first cabinet
Shortly after the swearing-in ceremony, CM Rekha Gupta and his Council of Ministers held their first meeting to underline the roadmap of the initiative and began to implement plans based on the pre-east promises of the BJP.
Addressing a press conference, Gupta announced that the Delhi government would implement the BJP head -led Center head Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme in the national capital.
The BJP had constantly criticized the previous AAP government for failing to implement the scheme in the national capital, so that people could be prevented from benefiting from medical policy.
Under Ayushman Bharat, each beneficiary will be provided a total health cover of a total of Rs 10 lakh, with a contribution of Rs 5 lakh to the Center and Delhi government.
The Chief Minister also announced that the government will submit 14 Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on the previous administration’s performance during the first session of the newly formed eighth Delhi Assembly. These CAG reports were ‘blocked’ by AAP when it was in power.
The BJP won 48 seats in the recently held Delhi assembly elections, returning to power after 27 years of drought. Meanwhile, AAP suffered a massive shock as it won only 22 seats in the 70 -member assembly.
