Delhi Earthquake: On the morning of 17 February, the National Capital Region has a strong tremor

The National Center for Sisamology said the 4.0 magnitude earthquake rocked parts of Delhi-NCR on Monday (February 17, 2025).

The shock shook many parts of the city and many parts of the national capital region. The earthquake was located in New Delhi, at a depth of five kilometers, it said in a post on X.

However, in relatively mild magnitude, its shallow 5 km depth meant that the tremors were widely registered.

According to the agency, got trapped at 5:36 am.
