World No. 3 Coco Goff crashed in the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Dubai on Tuesday, when he was defeated by fellow American McRartney Cassalor 6-4, 7-5.
World No. 53, who defeated Doha Champion Amanda Anisimova in the first round, served Gauf three times and rescued five out of six brake points in front of him.
Only once when she slipped, she tried to serve the match at 5-4 for the first time in the second set.
This is the first time that 25 -year -old Kesler has defeated a top 10 player, although he has won the first two titles of his career in the last six months – in Cleveland in August 2024 and then in Hobart in early January.
She is through the third round of WTA 1000 for the first time in her career, and 2021 will be defeated by US Open winner Emma Redukanu 7-6 (8/6), 6-4 to withstand No. 1 4 Seed Karolina Muchova.
Goff made a good start to win all his matches for the United States as he won the United Cup and reached the quarter -finals in the Australian Open.
However, she lost in the second round of Doha WTA 1000 last Tuesday, in two sets, Ukrainian Marta Costux and now in World No. 5 Cassaller.
There was no such problem for the top two seeds.

Jasmine Paolini stopped the defense of her title with a win, although the rain waited her.
