Recently, Mr. Tharoor defends his praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi After his meeting with US President Donald Trump, saying that he spoke in mind that India’s interests and “we cannot always speak in the party’s interest.” He said that PM Modi is the fourth world leader to meet Trump, when he met Trump after fulfilling India’s growing importance on the global stage.
Following his praise for Prime Minister Modi, he appreciated the development of CPI (M) entrepreneurship of Kerala in an article. Left party welcomed Congress MP Verification, the comments of Shri Tharoor were said to have recognized the achievements of Pinaray Vijayan’s administration.
“As a member of Parliament from Kerala, I focused on a specific issue and wrote – The change of industrial landscape through the development of the startup sector. As a Congress worker, I am proud to accept this. That this was the former Chief Minister Oomon Chandy who started this change, “he wrote in Malayalam.
He credited Chandy’s policies for laying the foundation for Kerala’s Startup Ecosystem, citing initiatives like ‘Startup Village’ and ‘Kerala Startup Mission’, which has been continued by the present government.
Kerala Congress vs Shashi Tharoor
In Kerala, the row rose after the mouthpiece Weekshanam Daily of the Congress party, an editorial criticized an editorial, in which Congress leader Shashi Tharur -Naming him.
This urged him not to cheat the expectations of thousands of party workers before the upcoming local body elections.
The editorial with strong words stated that an anti-one-opposition wave was prevalent in the state and the attempt to suppress it by those responsible for giving it fuel represents a ‘distorted’ political practice.
A day later, Mr. Tharoor withdrew a poster from his Facebook, allegedly from the Kerala Congress Committee, in which CPI (M) members were referred to as “cannibals”.
Five years ago, a few hours after the CPI (M) workers shared the controversial poster of the Youth Congress workers, Kripesh and Sarathlal, who were killed in Peria in Kasargod district, Mr. Tharoor made another position, shared his photos. But without any reference to CPI, (M).
