Maputo, Mozambique – PVBlic Foundation proudly participated in the South Africa SIDS and LLDC workshop as a prominent partner and organizer, held in the amazing hotel Meliã Maputo SKY in Maputo, Mozambique, from 24 March to 28 March, 2025, from March 24 to March 28, 2025. Director of SDG Data Alliance, Dr. Presented by Greg Scott, PVBLIC demonstrated its unwavering commitment to pursue geophysical data solutions, with a strong focus on regional capacity building and inclusive development, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This five-day workshop, “Implementing geophysic strategies: challenges and opportunities”, previous United Nations continued the global pace set by the previous United Nations Integrated Land Street Information Framework (UN-IGIF) events across Africa, Asia, Caribbean and Pacific. Each of the participating country and institutions provided a positional analysis of high-level status reports and national and regional progress and challenges, which need to help our collective understanding and opportunities to increase the national geopolitical information management system and need a flexible and permanent future. Many familiar trends arose, including: data sharing, institutional resistance and ongoing decrease of technical difficulty; Lack of access to timely and relevant data; Lack of awareness of the value and benefits of geophysic information (at the decision-making level); The need to increase capacity and capacity to meet skill challenges, and emerging needs; Inadequate institutional integration in modern geo -strategic technologies; And lack of national standards for data collection, management and spread. In this context, it was widely accepted that the United Nations-IGIF provides very essential data integration capacity and a consistent language and functioning for all countries. In terms of taking advantage of technology, the work of SDG Data Alliance and its technology partner, ESRI was appreciated and both were appreciated for developing and deploying data hubs and standardized data products. Above: In group breakout sessions, participants discussed national data assets and needs, and how can they be aligned with national development priorities and, through these, towards the implementation of the United Nations-IGIF. The second phase of the workshop infected an interactive sharing of knowledge and experiences, promoting dialogue between 12 countries, United Nations System, regional organizations and private sector participants. The purpose of this section is to give surface to unique national approaches, identify institutional and geographical obstacles, and promote collaborative strategies to strengthen the geophysical infrastructure throughout the region. During this phase (Thursday morning), a high -level national dialogue was called with leaders of the Mozambique and the United Nations Government.
