AAP commitment to labor welfare
Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government is constantly working towards the upliftment of the government, labor force and improving the quality of life. With a deep root commitment to ensure the welfare of the workers, the Honorable Government has introduced a series of transformational initiatives aimed at providing financial assistance, better working conditions and access to social security schemes.
Empowering workers with awareness and welfare camps
To ensure that workers across Punjab have been well informed about government policies and welfare schemes, special awareness camps have been organized throughout the state. These camps have successfully associated thousands of workers with government benefits, making them capable of securing financial assistance and improving their standard of living.
More than 5 million workers registered on e -ram portal
An important milestone has been obtained with registration of more than 5 million (5 million) workers on the e -ram portal. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab’s social media handle recently shared this remarkable achievement, which reflects the government’s commitment to provide social security benefits to workers in both organized and unorganized sectors.
Millions of distributed financial assistance
The government has given priority to financial assistance for registered workers. In the financial year 2024-25 alone, an amount of 31.71 crore has been distributed to 19,055 workers. The government’s frequent efforts are also clear from the previous financial years:
- In 2022-23, ₹ 102.23 crore was distributed among 67,549 workers.
- ₹ 97.29 crore benefited 41,155 workers in 2023-24.
These financial AIDS have contributed significantly in increasing the welfare of the labor community in Punjab.
Punjab won the prestigious Scotch Award for Labor Welfare
Has been honored with Punjab Bhawan and other construction Workers Welfare Board Scotch Award 2024 For its exemplary work in policy making and implementation. The board has introduced relaxation in eligibility criteria for various welfare schemes, including scholarship, power subsidy and maternity benefits, ensuring that more workers can easily get these benefits.

The unwavering commitment of the government for labor welfare is setting up new benchmarks in the government. By simplifying access to social security schemes, increasing financial assistance and ensuring transparency in implementation, the Honorable Government is really changing the life of the labor force that works hard.
