Indian steel market can see dumping due to American tariff: JSPL President – News18

Indian steel manufacturers are constantly increasing the issue of steel dumping in the Indian market from a select group of countries that have affected their competition.

The executive of the industry further said that he is soon expecting a positive decision.

According to official data, India’s exports have shrunk 28.9 percent to 3.99 million tonnes during the April-January period of FY25 compared to 5.61 million tonnes in the period of the previous financial year.

During the current financial year period, this country increased by more than 20 percent to 8.29 million tonnes with inbound shipment to a pure importer of steel.
