India is developing its own big language model in a public-private partnership (PPP) mode, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the AI Action Summit in Paris.
He said that the PPP model is used to bring resources together and make them available for startups.
“India is creating its big language model in view of our diversity. We also have a unique public-private partnership model to pool resources like compute power. It is available to our startups and researchers at a cheap cost It has been done. India is ready to share.
The Prime Minister, who is co-headed by the French President Emmanuel Macron on artificial intelligence, said that India is in the morning of the AI era, machines can never control humans.
“We are at dawn of the AI era that will shape the course of humanity. Some people worry about the improvement of machines in intelligence for humans. But no one keeps the key of our collective future and other people other than us Shares it.
India’s digital public infrastructure is open and accessible to all, he said, referring to large -scale successful programs like UPI network in the country of more than one billion people.
