The origin of Citopir returned to a serious meeting in 2017. The Asian Beatboxer Mike Lee, introduced by Manmeet Kaur and Flavian, discovered a shared praise for a passion for the discovery of hip-hop, graffiti and natural landscapes. His synergy as artists developed in a collaborative journey that merges his individual styles into a harmonious audio-visual experience. Flavian’s beats and soundscape of Maharat Kaur’s insulating lyricism and dynamic platform originally combines the couple, creating a performance that talks to both head and heart.
On January 10, Neeta Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) will host the debut audio-visual performance of the Indo-French pair. Determined on the cube, the show promises to be more than entertainment only – this is a call to take action on the subjects of inclusion, social change and environmental awareness.
At the core of Citopir’s work, it is believed that art can catalyze social change. Through projects such as reverse, an interdisciplinary audio-visual workshop for young people and adults, which he launched in the country in 2023, is attached to the pair to co-produce music and poetry with diverse communities. These interactions directly affect their songs and scenes, combining their art with authenticity and living experiences. Their EP Wabi sabiInspired by the Japanese philosophy of embracing imperfections, challenges social prejudices and advocates for deep approval of itself and others.
“Our art is an expansion of the world that we imagine – a place of sympathy, respect and collective development,” says Manmeet. “We hope to motivate the audience not as an abstract ideal but to see the inclusive as an action of life.”
Reducing art and environmental awareness
In the era of environmental urgency, Sitopir simply deal with ecological subjects. Workshops create a foundation stone of their practice, encouraging participants to create music with elements and elements of nature. These activities together with clean-up drives and mural projects using these activities, eco-friendly materials such as terracotta and Chun (Lime plaster), underlines their commitment to durable practices.

“The challenge lies in making these pressures attractive,” Flavian shares. “We want the audience to enjoy a performance emotionally with the idea of environmental leadership that is vibrant and idea.”
For NMACC debut, both have woven the results of these projects in their settist, complemented by scenes that highlight the beauty and delicateness of the natural world.
A multi-sensitive experience
Views in mixed music, songs, and a spontaneous story are not an easy achievement. For this show, Citopir has pushed creative and technical boundaries, integrating music videos, documentaries and live visuals through state -of -the -art software. Performance will feature translated French songs, ensuring that the message resonates in linguistic obstacles.
“We are not here to feed a spoon,” Kaur says. “Our visual and music support the themes of each song, inviting the audience to reflect and interpret their way.”
Sitopir’s first film promises to leave the audience with more fun – it aims to provoke the idea and inspire action. “We hope to break the prejudices and increase the deep understanding of the mutual relationship of life,” the pair reflects. “As humans, we are all navigating the same future. Through our art, we expect to impress today’s options for better tomorrow. ,
