Sunrisers Hyderabad made some adventure changes to play their play for the IPL 2025 clash against Delhi capitals, which left them Peser Mohammed Shami of Star India and his reliable all -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. While Shami’s form with the ball has been sleepy for his new side this season, Nitish Kumar Reddy also lacks the general nature shown last year when he won the emerging players of the season award.
After winning the toss and election against DC at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Shami and Nitish Reddy in SRH played two major lapses. As a replacement, SRH gave Sachin Baby the first cap of the season, while Abhinav Manohar also made it in the play in XI.
Although Shami was included in SRH’s influence sub options, first bowling, it is unlikely that hosts will change the first innings.
SRH XI vs DC playing: Abhishek Sharma, Ishaan Kishan (W), Sachin Baby, Henrik Klassen, Anichetic Verma, Abhinav Manohar, Pat Cummins (C), Harshal Patel, Jaydev Unadkat, Zishan Ansari, Ishan Malinga
Impact membership: Travis Head, Harsh Dubey, Rahul Char, Vian Mulder, Mohammed Shami
Shami’s participation in clash – a one who could potentially decide the playoff fate of SRH – was subject to prolonged investigation after the disastrous stretch of the performance of experienced India. The 36 -year -old man has managed to take 6 wickets in 9 matches only this season and has scored 337 runs in the economy of 11.23 with his general standards.
Shami’s Torid IPL 2025 campaign also included 74 runs in four overs-the second most expensive magic in IPL history.
Beyond the match, SRH head coach Daniel Vaterori had removed the concerns of any injury around Shami Amidst his bad runs, which talked to some extent about maintaining confidence in pacer – was dropped only for this important conflict against DC for him.
On the other hand, Nitish Kumar Reddy failed to provide any real support in SRH Middle Order with bat, scoring only 173 runs in his 10 matches this season at an average of 24.71. Although SRH captain Pat Cummins has not changed Reddy’s bowling once this season, the youth showed last year that she could be a property in that department as well. It was only later confirmed through SRH’s official social media handle that Nitish missed the DC clash to be unwell.
