Sunrisers Hyderabad has decided to make changes in each other after a poor start in the IPL 2025 season. SRH has submitted its IPL debut to Kamindu Mendis and has decided to bring Simjit Singh back into lineup for clash at Eden Gardens.
SRH, who is stuck with his aggressive approach, has given a difficult time in the ongoing season as he lost his last 2 matches against Delhi’s capitals at Lucknow Super Giants and Vizag at home. Mendis and Simarjeet come in as Abhinav Manohar was dropped from the side and the Travis Head Impact Subs was on the bench.
Mendis was the ICC Emerging Cricketer of the Year in 2024 and has scored 381 runs in 23 T20I. SRH won the toss and opted to enter the first field in Kolkata on Thursday, 3 April as both teams targeted for a big victory.

What did Cummins say after the toss
Cummins said that despite losing 19 wickets in the last 2 matches, his side would stick to his aggressive view.
Cummins said, “We have talked about it. I think we are in our best when we are aggressive. Most of those wickets have come with some careless batting. Do not think too much about it. Keep moving, keep moving,” Cummins said.
Cummins also praised Annic Verma, who played well against DC.
He has been amazing. That puberty. Who is bowling does not distract him. He is taking the bowlers well.
You think how the game is going on and we are clear who we want that we want to become a sub -place. ,
