Israeli’s air strike killed a rebel Prime Minister in Sana

Irani -backed Hauthis said on Saturday (30 August 2025) that A Israeli’s air strike killed the Prime Minister of the rebel controlled government In the Yamani capital, Sana.

The rebels’ statement stated that Al-Mahavi, who had served as Prime Minister for the government-led government since August 2024, was targeted along with other members of the government-controlled government during a regular workshop organized by the government.

Hothis have repeatedly launched missiles against Israel in the Israeli war against Hamas in Gaza. The group states that the attacks are in solidarity with Palestinians.
