New Delhi: World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev On Friday, expressed concern over the increasing number of injuries in Indian cricketers, convicted the program of demand that keeps the players on the field for about 10 months in a year. They told that National cricket academy Bangalore has become a rehabilitation center, the players have spent more time to recover more time than training.
The latest shock is India’s pace spearhead Jasprit BumrahWho remembered the second innings of the final test in Sydney due to the rear injury. Initially nominated in India Champions Trophy Squad, Bumrah is now excluded from the tournament.

Asked if the Bumrah will be remembered in the Champions Trophy, Kapil said: “Why talk about someone who is not in the team? This is a team game, and the team has to win, not individuals. It is not badminton, tennis or golf; we are playing a team game in the Champions Trophy.
He said, “You never want your main player to be injured, but if this happens, you cannot do anything about it. Best wishes to my Indian team – go and play well,” he said.
India will launch the Champions Trophy campaign against Bangladesh in Dubai on 20 February.
Kapil said that he is excited to see such growing talent in the Indian cricket team these days.
