A personal best and silver medal in his international initial was not enough to satisfy Sachin Yadav.
On the last day of the 25 -year -old Asian Athletics Championship, Arshad finished second behind Nadeem, but insisted that his goal is qualifying for the World Championship.

He said, “My body was a little right in the beginning, I was unable to feel the rhythm and could get my actions smoothly. I also took help from Yashveer Singh to take my muscles a little rest and it felt better in the last two throw,” he accepted.
Animesh Kujur, who set a new national record of 20.32s in 200 meters, also tried to take inspiration from his performance, breaking his previous mark set last month, but was not very happy.
“I knew that it would be difficult here because athletes were competing fast and I was confident that if I could live with them, I could do my time better.
“I always thought that my start is not good, but I did not let it affect it negatively. On the curve, I thought I was in a good position and tried to maintain it.
