February 19: More than 30 people were injured after firecrackers exploded in a football ground near Arecode in Malappuram, Kerala on Monday.
According to the police, “The incident occurred in a football ground, where the firecrackers were used before the football match started. The firecrackers burst and spread to the ground, where people were sitting to watch the match.”
Police said the injured were taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment, saying that there was no serious injury.
