A day after the post -mortem examinations, two women were killed and a teenage girl was found dead in her Kolkata house, police said on Friday that they are now focusing on the objective of criminals and the motive behind the crime. According to a police officer, investigators are also searching for a possible participation of two female husbands, who are brothers, or outsiders.
Autopsy reports have shown that women, who had cut their wrist and throat, hunted these pre-of-rox injuries (provoked before death), while the girl died due to death.

Registered case
A case of murder at Tangra police station was registered on the same day on the basis of a complaint filed by Romi’s father Swapan Kumar Banerjee against unknown persons under Section 103 (1) of the Indian Justice.
According to a police officer, the brothers initially claimed that family members had entered a suicide treaty, consuming porridge with sleeping pills.
“It appears that on the night of 17 February, all the family members tried to kill themselves. But this effort was probably unsuccessful, “said a senior police officer.
According to the police, both women were killed by penetrating injuries with a paper cutter, while the minor girl hunted poison. The police have recovered the paper cutter used in the crime.
Post -mortem reports revealed that the death time was estimated to be 36 to 48 hours before the examination, suggesting that the possibility of death took place between 17 to 18 February.
Brother is out of danger, but the boy is in critical condition. All three are undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city. A police team will consult doctors to determine the “appropriate time” to question the brothers.
“It seems that they were trying to mislead us. They were trying to hide something. We need to question them. Once they are declared fit to talk, our officials will start questioning them, ”the officer said.
Collected evidence
The forensic team of Kolkata Police has collected samples from various places including the bathroom, washbasin and two women and girl’s bodies, according to the official.
The police have collected CCTV footage from Tangra House, which will “help to understand family activities before crime”.
The footage will enable investigators to identify who had visited home in the last week and their connections to the family.
The official said that the police have seized several evidence items, including a set of 12 keys, mostly Tangra residence, a bloodshed from the back seat of the car, and many bloodstones were found inside the vehicle, the officer Said.
In CCTV footage from the crime site, Prasun, Pranay and Boy are shown exiting the house in a car at 12.52 pm on February 19. According to the police, the three remaining people were under the influence of sedative.
According to a police officer involved in the investigation, Prasun and Pran had planned to leave the boy in a hospital before taking their lives.

Financial crisis
Neighbors described the family as one of the most prosperous in the region and shocked the incident. “We did not know anything. It happened so late at night. The family had a personal security guard outside his house. We don’t know what happened to him, ”a neighbor said.
Police investigation revealed that Dey Brothers operated a family -owned glove construction business in the area, providing employment to more than 200 people, which was operational till 18 February. However, the business was facing financial difficulties.
A business partner, who visited the crime site, told the Mediaperson that his company used to supply raw materials in the family business, but stopped about a year ago due to payment of the dues. He claimed that the check would be bounced and the payment will be delayed for several months, resulting in an outstanding dues of ₹ 28 lakh- ₹ 30 lakh.
Police said that on February 18, the factory managers were repeatedly called to the family, and it was also revealed that the family had sent their driver on leave.
“We found that the family had taken crores of loans from six financial institutions and pledged their house. The family accountant is currently being questioned, ”the police said.
