According to the Pol Rights Body ADR, the BJP reported the highest income among the national parties in the financial year 2023-24, with a total earning of a total of Rs 4,340.47 crore.

Collectively, these three parties raised Rs 2,524.1361 crore – “43.36 percent of their total income – through the Election Bond Scheme, which was hit by the Supreme Court in May last year as” unconstitutional and manifestly arbitrary “.
According to data shared by the State Bank in response to the RTI application filed by the ADR, the election bond worth Rs 4,507.56 crore was redeemed by various political parties in the 2023-24 fiscal. National parties calculated 55.99 percent of this amount – Rs 2,524.1361 crore.
The report said that the maximum expenditure by the Congress was spent on the election expenses, which was Rs 619.67 crore, followed by Rs 340.702 crore spent on administrative and general expenses.
In comparison, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) spent Rs 56.29 crore on administrative and general expenses and Rs 47.57 crore at employee costs.
Among the national parties, six announced a total of Rs 2,669.87 crore from donations and contribution.
The report also said that out of these six parties, only the Congress (Rs 58.56 crore) and CPI (M) (Rs 11.32 crore) were announced to get a total income of Rs 69.88 crore from the sale of coupons.
The audit report of CPI (M), Congress and BJP was presented with a delay of 12 to 66 days.
The report said that the most common expenses among the national parties were on elections and administrative expenses.
