“Ready to move towards real, guaranteed peace”: after meeting Zelensky Vance

Munich:

US vice -president JD Vance on Friday promised Washington that Washington demanded a “permanent” peace safe as he with Moscow to discuss Donald Trump’s push for a deal with Moscow with Ukraine leader Volodimier Zelanski The first meeting was held.

The dialogue in Munich was seen as an important moment for Kiev as it tries to keep Washington towards her, when Trump stunned colleagues by announcing peace efforts with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Vance said, “We want to achieve a durable, permanent peace, not such peace that is going to keep Eastern Europe in a struggle a few years from the road.”

He said that “good conversation” was with Zelanceci how they could reach that goal, and they would have more conversations “in the coming days”.

Zelansky also talked about a “good conversation”, saying that the encounter with Vance was “our first meeting, not final, I am sure”.

“We are ready to move forward as soon as possible towards a real and guaranteed peace,” Zelancesi later wrote on X, saying that a messington messenger would visit Kiev.

Trump on Wednesday agreed to start a peace talks since Ukraine and his European colleagues in their first publicly declared calls with Putin.

The dramatic melt in the relationship feared that Ukraine could be left in the cold after almost three years of struggling with Moscow attack.

US officials insisted that Zelancesi would attend the talks – and the Ukrainian leader said he would be ready to sit with Putin after Trump agreed with Trump.

“Only in this case I am ready to meet,” Zelansky told the Munich Suraksha Sammelan before seeing Vance.

Vance said before the meeting that the United States was ready to pressurize Russia, saying that Europe should be on the table “certainly”.

US authorities have sent mixed messages on Washington’s strategy after Pentagon head Pete Hegseth, which appeared to join NATO to get out of Ukraine to join NATO or retreat all their areas.

Trump’s phone number

It has led to great concerns in Kiev and Europe that Ukraine can be forced into a bad deal that faces the continent with an embossed Putin.

But Vance told The Wall Street Journal that Trump would “put everything” on the table in a possible conversation, and Washington could also use “military lens” to force a deal against Russia.

He did not give much distance away in a curious main speech, as he refrained from addressing the war in Ukraine and focusing on scolding Europe at immigration and free speech instead.

After Saudi Arabia nominated by Trump as a possible site for a meeting with Putin, it would welcome any conversation between the two leaders.

Zelansky feared that Trump was leaving Kiev in the cold, saying that the US President gave him his personal number when he spoke.

“If he will choose our side, and if he is not in the middle, I think he would pressurize and he would push Putin to stop the war,” Zelancesi said.

In the bid to close Washington, Kiev has talked about providing access to her rare mineral deposits in exchange for future US security assistance.

The European colleague, who is Ukraine’s strongest backers with Washington, demanded that they too be included in dialogues that would affect their continent’s safety.

European Union head Ursula von Der Leyen warned that forcing Ukraine into a bad deal would harm American interests.

“I am confident that by working together, we can distribute that equitable and permanent peace,” he said.

Chernobyl strike

While Europe monitors the American stance on Ukraine, Trump’s determination has very little ambiguity to spend more on his defense.

The fear may declare a large American contingent deficiency in Europe, but he warned that Washington needed to focus more on other parts of the world.

Amidst the diplomatic hurry in Munich, Zelancesi said that a Russian drone on the ground in Ukraine had hit a cover manufactured to include radiation at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, although he said that the level of radiation was normal.

The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia launched 133 drones across the country throughout the night, including attack drones, which targets the northern regions of the country, where the Chernobyl plant lies.

Zelansky said the attack was proof that “Putin is definitely not preparing for the conversation – he is preparing to cheat the world”.
