Jerusalem:
The Israeli police said the blasts said with an official, described as a “suspected terrorist attack” on Thursday evening, said there were no injuries.
Police said in a statement, “Preliminary reports – suspected terrorist attacks. Several reports of explosions were found in various buses in Bat Yama.”
The statement said that large police forces were deployed to search for the suspects.
“Police bomb settlement units are scanning for additional suspicious goods. We urge the public to avoid areas and be alert for any suspicious objects,” said this.
Bat Yama Mayor Tzwika Brot said in a video statement that the explosions occurred in two buses in two separate parking.
“No one is injured in these incidents,” Bot said, the causes of blasts were still not clear.
Television footage broadcast by some Israeli network showed a completely burnt bus, while another caught fire.
Israeli media stated that bus drivers across the country were asked to stop and inspect their buses for additional potential explosive equipment.
