Mumbai:
Police said Shraddha Walker’s father Vikas Walker, whose brutal murder caused a nationwide sensation in 2022, died on Sunday at his residence in Vasai city of Palghar district of Maharashtra.
A police officer said that Vikas Walker was found to be sedentary by his family members in the morning, after which he was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Initial investigation shows that cardiac arrest caused death.
A postmortem report in the case is awaited, the officer said without detail.
In May 2022, Shraddha Walker was allegedly strangled by his live-in partner Offb Amin Poonwala in Delhi. For several days to avoid detection.
Delhi Police filed a 6,629 -page charge sheet in the case on 24 January 2023.
