Syrian man kills teenager and injures four in Austria, to stop witness drive – The Times of India

According to police, a Syrian man, a 23 -year -old and legally living in Austria, attacked five people with a knife in the southern city of Villa on Saturday. As a result of the attack, he died at the age of 14 and four others suffered injuries.
Law enforcement caught the attacker at the scene.
Officials apprehended a Syrian National with a legal Austrian residence in the place of the incident. The attack resulted in four male casualties, two serious injuries and two others received minor wounds.
The police is still investigating the background of the attacker, spokesperson Renner Donisio said the motive is not clear. The AP News Agency said that the 42 -year -old food distribution worker saw the incident from his vehicle and intervened to prevent moving forward.
