Chief Minister A. Revent Reddy has asked the urban development officers to speed up the process for the cable-sight bridge being built on the Milam tank.
In a review meeting with the municipal administration and GHMC officials on Saturday, Mr. Revant Reddy directed the officials to complete the detailed project report for the project within 90 days. He also gave a time limit of 30 months for the construction of the bridge.
He imagined the bridge to develop the city as the most prominent destination in the city. He instructed the officials to design the messengers of the bridge keeping in mind the children. Authorities came with three proposals for the construction of a 2.425 km bridge.
Mr. Revantha Reddy also issued instructions for deep disturbances of new flyover proposals for the city. He also gave several suggestions regarding road widening, and asked the authorities to come up with comprehensive information within two days.
