Three police personnel of Narayanpet district of Telangana were caught on Tuesday to accept and accept a bribe of Rs 20,000 by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to provide an official favor. The three personnel include an inspector and two constables.
According to an official release from ACB, the accused police officers had taken a bribe from a complainant in exchange for an official feor – a charge sheet in a rape case, reducing the seriousness of the allegations, according to one, one, one, one. Jungle officials caught in corruption case
In a separate incident, a forest range officer and a forest beat officer in Bhadradri Kothagudem district was allegedly arrested by ACB officials to accept a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a complainant.
According to the release of ACB, the authorities demanded a bribe in exchange for permission to transport gravel for road construction. During the operation, the bribe money was successfully recovered from the accused.
Further investigation is being done by the anti -corruption bureau in both cases.
