The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 campaign has left for a flight, in which Delhi Capital vs Mumbai Indians met on Saturday as a complete thriller. Chasing 165, DC was left 109/5 in 14.5 overs despite an early stand of 60 runs. However, Nikki Prasad and Sara scored 10 runs for the equation by 10 runs despite falling wickets at the other end. With the need of two runs on the final ball, the pair of Arundhati Reddy and Radha Yadav completed a risky double, resulting in the headlines.
Arundhati hit the ball on an off-side, on the head of the fielders inside the circle. It was MI captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who participated after the ball and threw it towards the end of the keeper.
