The US Supreme Court on Friday (June 27, 2025) gave President Donald Trump a major victory by curbing the power of the federal judges alone to block executive functions.
In a 6-3 judgment from Mr. Trump’s bid to end congenital citizenship, the court stated that the nationwide prohibitions issued by the lower court judges “the Congress is more likely to be more likely than the justified authority given to the federal courts”.
The apex court did not immediately rule the constitutionality of Trump’s executive order, which ended the birthright.
