Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore (SRI-B) began its major global citizenship program, Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) for women at Geeta Sheshu Shikhan Sangh (GSSS) Institute of Engineering and Technology of Mysuru.
SRI-B is the largest R&D center outside South Korea and is a major innovation center of the Samsung group, while Getha Sheshu Shikhan Sangha (GSSS) Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women is the first All Woman Engineering College at Karnataka.
The initiative is keeping in mind Samsung’s commitment to pursue gender equality in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and to promote a new generation of women leaders in technology.
According to SRI-B, the SIC program focuses on core technology skills including artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data and coding and programming, and especially by Samsung’s global R&D experts designed to create India’s youth industry Has been done In this initiative, students enrolled will get an opportunity to undergo special offline and online training in a classroom facility, and will have to work on innovative projects under the guidance of masters from SRI-B and GSSS Institute.
