UTTAM wants the intervention of the Center in Krishna water dispute, the Mussi River seeks money for irrigation projects

Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy has demanded immediate intervention of the Central Government in the Krishna water dispute to prevent any injustice of Telangana.

He also pressured the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) investigation to be completed in the Medigada project, requested a clear written recommendation from the Center in the way forward.

He also said that the Telangana government had introduced dislocation and dispensation efforts during the main and medium irrigation projects as per the central structure and sought financial assistance from the Center for these initiatives. Regarding the NDSA investigation at the Medigadda project, he said that the investigation was pending for several months and requested the intervention of the Ministry of Water Power to complete the Swift and ensure a clear course of action for the Tehsil government.

Telangana’s ambitious Mussi Reverfrant Development Project was highlighted, which included 55 km river through Hyderabad, Mr. Uttam Kumar urged the Center to provide full financial assistance to the Center that he provides extended assistance for the Ganga and Yamuna Calance Projects.
