Veteran horse trainer s. Ganpati retired after a remarkable career at Bangalore Turf Club on Sunday, 13 July.

Ganapati obtained his trainer license during the winter season of 2000. He had a total of 945 winners in a 25 -year racing career. His first winner was Sandawar, and he claimed his first classic with a luxurious Belle in Bangalore Ox. Ganpati also won Poonwalla breeders five million.

The best horse in Indian racing history competed in mysterious, Dubai and won twice. Ganapati is the first Indian trainer to win at the famous Dubai Racing Carnival. He won 25 Derbis, 4 Indian Turf Invitation Cups, 18 1000 Guinea, 16, 2000 Guinea, 12 oak, nine Philosar trial stacks and six colts trial stax. He was given by BTC President Mr. R. Manjunath Ramesh vested.
