The tribute to Virat Kohli is coming after the 36 -year -old mythical batsman announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday, May 12.
Former inaugural batsman Virendra Sehwag shared an emotional tribute to his partner Delhi Lad, who later congratulated an outstanding test career.
‘I have only one heart’
In a video, Sehwag said: “Bawwa from my city – Delhi. When I saw you in childhood, I knew that you are to get big things, but you have really overcome my imagination and how.
“Chiku Yaar, I have some words for you today – the amount of dedication given by you to test cricket, benefits will be benefited by many generations to come.
“I am sad that you have not completed 10,000 runs, but it is a proof that you do everything on your own. People forget the numbers, but remember memories. Your achievements as a captain are unforgettable, and no one will ever be able to achieve it.
“Win in South Africa, Australia, and those 60 overs hell in England. My cheek, I only have one heart, how many times you will win it? Best wishes for your future.”
The game gives him a big time
Harsha Bhogle paid a rich tribute to the talisman of India, stating that the longest format of the game is the 36 -year -old dues to calm Test cricket.
On his X account, he wrote, “I preferred #Viratkohli to go out of Test cricket before a pack stadium. But since we are, we do not let us appreciate them. He told a generation on T20 cricket that Test cricket is quiet and aspirational.

In 2017, he expressed his desire to “contribute to the betterment of sports”, stating “India to cultivate sports culture”.
