Team India fully designed England in the 3-Match series, which was emerging as a better side in all three departments. Skipper Rohit cannot be happy.
“The way you go out and the way you want is a little freedom in the squad. The World Cup (2023) was an ideal example of this. We want to continue to do so. Sometimes it will not happen. This is fine, “Rohit said in the post -match presentation.
He was very happy to put a collective show with the team and all performed satisfactorily.
He said, “Very pleasing (the way the series had gone). We knew that there would be challenges that we can face,” he said.
Without going to the nuances, Rohit said that India is looking into the Champions Trophy to further improve his game, which is in meditation, starting from February 19.
“Obviously, there are some things that we are seeing and I am not going to stand here and explain to those people. It is our job and at the same time keep some stability and communication within the squad.
“Obviously a champion team wants to improve every game and wants to move forward,” he said.
Match and series players, Shubman Gill Said that hundred was one of his better knocks as there was some help for the fast bowlers initially.
“I was feeling good. I think it was one of the better knocks. The pitch was a bit difficult in the beginning so it is satisfactory. It was a bit for the fast bowlers.
“It was seaming, so the chat strike was to rotate and not losing wickets in power play, building on speed and taking it from there,” he said.
