A day after Walmart’s forecast hit spirit, the US Stock Index was mixed on Friday, while the United Health slipped after a report that the US Justice Department was investigating the Health Services Group.

In the initial bell, Dow Jones Industrial Average fell at 356.5 points or 0.81%, 43820.13. S&P 500 fell to 3.4 points, or 0.06%, 6114.1, while NASDAQ increased to 44.3 points or 0.22%, 20006.693.

Oil prices fell on Friday as uncertainty on a possible peace deal in Ukraine.

Brent futures slipped from 90 cents, or 1.2 percent, $ 75.58 per barrel to 1423 gmt, while the US West Texas Intermediate Crude lost 96 cents, or 1.3 percent, $ 71.52.

Gold prices declined on Friday as investors booked the record high of the previous season.

Spot Gold 0.3 percent to $ 2,930.85 per ounce 10:07 AM ET (1507 GMT). The US gold futures fell 0.4 percent to $ 2,945.20.

Spot silver was down 0.6 percent at $ 32.74 per ounce
