Activist Anna Hazare has said that AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal was doing “good work” as the Chief Minister of Delhi, but he started opening alcohol and resulted in people’s anger.
A woman, Rekha Gupta, was a matter of pride to become the new Chief Minister of the national capital, she told reporters on Friday that people voted for her due to her “pure ideas and deeds”.
As the Chief Minister, Mr. Kejriwal should have set an example before the society, but wandered, Mr. Hazare said that the anti -corruption movement is credited for the birth of the Aam Aadmi Party.
“Earlier CM (Kejriwal) was doing a good job and became the Chief Minister of Delhi thrice. Started opening and issuing licenses. I got upset, “Mr. Hazare told reporters, referring to the controversial product policy of the AAP government.
Mr. Hazare, in particular, is known for a staunch opposition for consumption or sale of alcohol.
Mr. Kejriwal was once a partner of Mr. Hazare in the anti-corruption movement, but after the formation of AAP in 2012, there were two ways in two ways.
Earlier this month, the BJP dropped the AAP from power in Delhi, in which Kejriwal lost his seat.
The Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate has alleged that Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22 and irregularities were committed when revising the expanded improper favor to the license holders. The policy was later abolished.
