At least a dozen Maoists were closed in an anti-Naxal operation by security forces. Chhattisgarh On Sunday (February 9, 2025), Bijapur asked the police. Two security personnel were also killed in the gun fight.

Confirming the count, Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) P Sundararaj said that there was an encounter of both sides when a police team was searching in the National Park Jungle, in which a tip was received about the presence of Maoists there .
He said, “During the operation, an encounter has been going on between the security forces and the Naxalites since morning,” he said the search operation was going on.
